Depending on the system and the size of the leak, we may use electronic leak detection equipment, pressure testing, or another approved method to locate the damaged area. Once we find the source, we explain the problem and review the repair options with you.

After approval, we repair or replace the affected component when possible. We then test the system, add the correct refrigerant when needed, and confirm that the air conditioner is cooling properly.

Many repairs can be completed during the same visit. If a special part is required, we will explain the next steps and help protect the system until the repair can be finished.

The cost of refrigerant leak repair depends on where the leak is located, how easy it is to access, which part is damaged, and the type and amount of refrigerant the system requires. A loose connection may be simpler to repair than a damaged indoor coil or buried refrigerant line.
